Winter Wonderland

After a pretty dreary winter we got a whole load of snow last Saturday. The sticky kind that covered the trees and made the world a magical place. As you skied into the woods, you felt like you were entering another world. Pictures just do not capture it as it was.

Art in the Shop

This weekend I helped out my friend Sharon build this piece of artwork. She had painted two pictures on two separate pieces of plywood. We sliced them up on the table saw, then installed hinges to make an accordian effect. The end result is a painting that changes depending on the angle you look at it from. This will be displayed at the Carleton University student art show next week.
