Winter Camping

Rob and I decided to go winter camping last weekend. We drove up to Algonquin Park, skied in down the trail for about 5 km, then skied through the bush off-trail for another 500m or so. We set up camp in a little valley and built a quincy to sleep in. The quincy collapsed once during construction, but in the end we managed to get a shelter which if not necessarily the most comfortable sleeping arrangements, at least it was warm. The morning was very cold, food and clothing was frozen solid, but we still had fun.
