Table Update

Tonight I finished the table top. I am not sure if I like the center part though. I do not really know what else I could have done here as it needs to support both the umbrella and the leg unit underneath.


I continue training for the Halifax trip. The weekend riding sucked as it poured rain the entire time. Nevertheless I still fit in a nine hour ride on Saturday. My right knee is giving me a bit of trouble... I hope this problem goes away.

Phone is back on line.

After 10 days of no phone service, Bell finally reconnected us. It only took 3 phone calls to them and receipt of 3 lies about the time it would be serviced. Gotta love that. I am just glad it is finally working. Now we will just have to call 3 or 4 more times when we get the bill for service during that period...

No Phone.

My phone line died last night. I called Bell this morning, but their fix-it guys are on strike... meaning you cannot call me or Emily for a while. You can call and leave a message. You can also email me during the week at work. I can't get email at home because the modem is dead. I feel disconnected...

Patio Table Top

Here is a pic of the patio table top as a work in progress. My sketch of this thing is dated Jan 30, 2005 to give you an idea of how quickly this is coming together.

Still to build once this is done; two chairs, and two benches.
