Yay! Emily comes home today from her three week European tour.

Hiking in Washington

I have been in BC for the last week for my the wedding of my cousin. I also slipped out to Victoria for a few days to visit my friends Rob and Natasha. Rob and I went down to Washington state for a two day hike in the Olympic mountains. The trip was great except for the Canadian customs agents who decided to search our car on the way back. They found our pot... and our frying pan, still slightly soiled with scrambled egg from the mornings breakfast. To their credit, the searching guys were friendly and did not make too much of a mess with our gear. Still a bit of a pain in the ass since we did nothing wrong.
